Best Burning Man hack since the lag screw!
I use these landscape staples for pinning down ground tarps and carpets at the burn so they don’t blow away. Game changer compared to tent stakes. They also work great for camping fests. 9 gauge minimum on the thickness otherwise they bend while hammering them in. They are easy to remove, to get them started, I use a hammer with a pry bar or a long flat head screw driver, then pull them out with the claw end of the hammer.
