The Best Burning Man Tent
This Kodiak flex bow canvas tent is hands down the best Burning Man tent. I've used it for at least 7 burns so far, through windstorms, intense heat, and raining man 2023. The big thing is airflow: big windows all the way around that open up so the heat quickly vents out. Every other tent, you're cookin in an oven with no airflow. The floor's rubber and waterproof, the canvas is waterproof right out of the box, and for a tent this size it still folds up relatively small. - Kodiak Flex-Bow Canvas Tent — 10×10 ft · Mine's 10×14’, but it’s sold out. The 10 x 10’ works great for one person.
- 3/8" × 12" Lag Screws · Mandatory, for securing tent to ground. The washers in this kit are not big enough for the Kodiak tent hooks. Need at least 1-1/2” outer diameter. Go 12" minimum on lag screw length. The tent uses 12 total lag screws.
- 3/8 x 1-1/2” Fender washers · Mandatory, at least 12 but it’s good to have extra. The Kodiak hooks are 1-1/4” so need at least 1-1/2” OD washer so it doesn’t pull through the hook.
- Impact Socket Adapter Bit Set (incl. 3/8") · Need to attach socket to impact driver. You’ll want the 3/8" adapter.
- Impact Socket — 3/8" Drive × 9/16" · Fits the head on the 3/8" lag screws.
- Impact Driver — batteries + charger included · Drives the lags into the ground and reverses them out.
